Where can Grade 12 titanium bars be applied? Chemical, marine, energy and high-end equipment industries?

Grade 12 titanium bar applications. Grade 12 bar may be evaluated for a defined component in chemical, marine, energy or other industrial equipment, but the actual medium, temperature, pressure, loads and fabrication route determine whether a material is appropriate.

Translate service conditions into an order

State the Grade 12 designation, applicable purchase specification, diameter, length, tolerance, condition, surface and document requirements. Describe machining, welding, forming, heat exposure and contact materials. For corrosion-related work, provide the actual chemistry, concentration, contaminants and operating cycle rather than relying on a broad industry label.

Keep supply and service approval separate

A material supplier can confirm the specified bar form and agreed lot documentation. The responsible engineer must evaluate the finished component under the governing design and inspection requirements. Do not use an alloy name to claim a fixed life, pressure approval or universal corrosion performance.

See the titanium rod category and send a technical RFQ with the drawing and service details.
