TB13 Titanium Wire

Product Overview

TB13 titanium wire is a metastable beta titanium alloy with a nominal composition of Ti-4Al-22V. Its high beta-stabilizer content supports strong cold-workability, elastic recovery and precision forming for demanding wire components.

The alloy is especially suited to spectacle-frame wire and other parts that require repeated forming, resilience and corrosion resistance. It can be supplied in solution-treated condition to YS/T 1077-2015, with other conditions or specifications evaluated against the purchase requirement.

Each quotation is reviewed against the requested diameter, tolerance, temper, surface, quantity and inspection-document needs before production is confirmed.

Features & Advantages

  • TB13 / Ti-4Al-22V: Beta alloy wire developed for formability, resilience and precision wire applications.
  • Cold workability: Suitable for drawing, bending and complex frame-forming routes.
  • Elastic recovery: Supports flexible components that must recover after controlled deflection.
  • Corrosion resistance: Titanium-based performance for perspiration and everyday environments.
  • Lightweight design: Lower density than common steels for comfortable finished components.
  • Order-specific control: Diameter, temper, surface and documents are reviewed before quotation.

Performance Solutions

1. Problem: High-strength wire may crack during tight-radius bending.

Solution: TB13’s beta-alloy structure supports strong cold-workability for controlled forming routes.

2. Problem: Thin components can remain permanently distorted.

Solution: TB13 provides useful elastic recovery for spectacle frames and resilient precision parts.

3. Problem: Steel wire can add unnecessary mass to wearable products.

Solution: Titanium alloy construction supports lighter component design.

4. Problem: Diameter alone is not enough to confirm suitability.

Solution: We review condition, tolerance, surface, quantity and test-document requirements before production.
